For weeks the baby has been playing a game with Craig. She will be turning somersaults and kicking away and the moment I replace my hands on my belly with Craig's...nothing. The baby instantly freezes. Maybe she doesn't like us playing tricks on her or maybe she requires we do some Indiana Jones-esque transfer where we keep hand heat, size, and pressure the same.
Well proof that the little one is getting stronger her kicks now make my stomach move. I was typing away on the computer and the movement was really noticeable. Craig was sitting right next to me and he was staring at the belly, he missed the next movement because the Padres highlights were on SportCenter. I guess as they say the third time is the charm (and Padre highlights/low lights were done) and we got to have a moment as we AWWWWED over our little one's kicking prowess.

Enjoy that while you can, because believe me in about 10 weeks or so when she is running out of room to roam you will will her to stop and you will feel and see every momement (secretly you will still revel in each and every movement, though). You are making me miss pregnancy and I waiver each day between wanting another sooner or later. Maybe it should be sooner so Little Ms. Stein can have a playmate!
Craig and Danielle....I love reading the blog and getting all the updates on the pregnancy-both of you are going to make such wonderful parents!! :)
