Today we had our 16 week appointment and it was routine. It was so nice to finally have an appointment that just consisted of weight, blood pressure, heartbeat, and questions. The Dr. put the doppler wand on my "bump" and instantly we heard the "woosh-woosh-woosh"of the heart. The heart was beating at 155 beats per minute, nice and strong.
Stats:
Age:15w 5 days
Heartbeat: 155 bpm
Weight Gain: (Mom) +1
Clothes: My pants still fit but all my tops fit strange and maternity stuff is huge
Cravings/Aversions: Meat is back on the menu and I still like potatoes and there is less on the bad food list, but I am still picky about what I eat each day.
Our next appointment is April 30th, this is the "big" ultrasound. While it is designed to look at the baby's brain, heart, stomach, bladder, all people care about that with a cooperative little one we will be able to find out if it is a girl or boy.
