4 Month Appointment

Well we had our 4 month appointment and Natalie is gaining weight and growing long as her supermodel stats tell us

Height 25" (80th percentile)
Weight 11lb 11 oz (11th percentile)

The appointment started off well with the DR saying this was the best time because at four months babies are happy and immobile. He added "it's all down hill from here". I smiled. I knew if Craig was there the Dr's comment would have been followed with a glance at Natalie and then "looks like you're an only child."

The Dr is slightly concerned about her generally unhappy disposition and we are conducting a trial with Mylanta to see if she would benefit from taking medication to treat the reflux that she was diagnosed with. She has been taking the Mylanta for a few days and it is hard to tell at this point. We are still treating the Cow Protein Allergy with Nutramigen.

She got her next series of vaccinations and did a great job again just crying when she was laid down but quieted down immediately after being picked up.
