Sunday we met all the Cal folk for breakfast. Later in the day Amy and George were married. It was a beautiful ceremony, very personal, and the bride had thought of all the details. I do not think I have ever seen a more well thought out wedding favor (hand made wine charms). The happy couple should be somewhere in Italy right now enjoying their honeymoon.
Monday we headed to San Jose and saw Chris, Nick, and Miss. Parker. I can't believe how big Parker is getting, a little lady. Auntie Christine is already spoiling the baby and gave us a early shower gift filled with at least 15 outfits, toys, books, and journals. I really appreciate all the "mommy" advice I was able to get during our lunch. And seriously Chris is the most stylish pregnant woman I have ever met!
Then it was on to Half Moon Bay where I had heard a rumour that the neighbors wanted to see us. When we turned the corner to the street the neighbors were there. Everyone Jan, Nathan, Cheryl, Meredith, Keith, Addison, Lindsey, Marie, Daniel, Ryan, and Harry were there to offer their congratulations. Our family has lived on the same street for 33 years and so have many of our neighbors so we're a tight group.
And now what many of you have waited for the reason we drove 550 miles....the pram. Sure it doesn't collapse, and it may not be the most practical, but it is a family heirloom. So all you haters....zip-it (meant to be funny). This will be the neighborhood stroller and we will get a non-descript, dime a dozen, babies r us, mass produced, collapsible stroller to wheel around your hood.
Here are some pics of the pram:
