Working Weekend

This weekend we had a working weekend. The kind that you just don't feel relaxed after because you have spent the whole time working, doing laundry, and the other million things we try to get done in a weekend. What made it worse was the heat! Ughh! Close to 100 degrees....it got so hot our thermostat is not even able to handle temps that high. I was barely able to handle temps that high. I sat at the computer with two fans trained on me, and I was still sweating. Drank plenty of water and we went through a few pitchers of Craig's yummy ice cold homemade lemonade.

I spent most of the time on my Masters and my Clinical Supervision Paper. Craig did some work but managed to find a few minutes to run to the store and Home Depot. He started the demo on the nursery closet. Then he grilled and I got a much needed break and we sat outside and ate dinner while we watched the sunset.

In happy news I think my Masters is almost done. After not hearing from my advisor for almost a week I got this email late last night:

"Hello Danielle,

I have read the whole paper and it is excellent."

Woo-Hoo! Maybe in a few weeks I can stop thinking about school and spend more time thinking about the baby.
